About Me

I began my career in education as an inclusion camp counselor when I was a 13 and have followed the path of inclusion, connection, and communication ever since.  I now have over 25 years of professional experience working with children and parents through their most challenging moments.

For over a decade I worked as a one-on-one Behavior Therapist with families whose children were diagnosed with various developmental delays including Autism, ADHD, and Down Syndrome.  I worked with families in their homes or with their child at school and included Parent Coaching in our weekly schedule.  Later in my career I became a Montessori trained Early Childhood Specialist and provided primary guidance to parents and caregivers during my years as a preschool teacher, Inclusion Specialist and mentor.

My career as a Parent Coach was established on being approachable and knowledgeable. I synthesize concerns while developing effective and successful family plans that benefit everyone in the home.

My professional and personal experiences have taught me the real-world challenges that go on behind the scenes every day.  We will work together to understand the root of the challenges your family is experiencing and how to mitigate them.

In addition to my work as a Parent Coach I am also an Inclusion Consultant, a Mentor for Education Directors, and a Curriculum Developer.

I moved during the pandemic from Brooklyn, New York to Durham, North Carolina to live in fresh air and sunshine with my co-parent, two children, two cats, and a LOT of plants!
